Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-05
This Privacy Policy describes how Reel Studio ("we", "the product") handles information in connection with the local application and optional third-party integrations, including Meta / Instagram APIs. This page is published at https://reel.k-cloud.online for Meta App registration and user transparency.
1. Overview
Reel Studio is primarily a local-first desktop/web tool that runs on the user's own computer. Most creative assets, scripts, previews, and databases remain on the user's machine unless the user enables an external integration.
2. Information We Process
Depending on which features you enable, we may process:
- Instagram account identifiers (for example account IDs)
- Instagram media identifiers (published post / media IDs)
- Media performance / insights metrics available via official APIs
- Configuration required for API integrations (for example which providers are enabled)
- Content you create in the app (scripts, scene text, local media references) — stored locally by default
We do not use Instagram integrations to collect direct messages, comment text bodies for advertising profiles, or follower personal information beyond what is necessary for the configured analytics features.
3. Purpose of Processing
- Instagram API integration (connecting an authorized account)
- Performance analytics and learning which content patterns work
- Content management within the local application
- Core service functionality requested by the user
4. Local Storage
Scripts, SQLite databases, media assets, renders, and quality reports are typically stored on the user's local device under the application data directories. This public website does not host those files.
5. Third-Party Services
When you configure and enable integrations, necessary data may be sent to the corresponding provider under that provider's terms and privacy policy. Current optional providers include:
- Meta / Instagram — account connection and media insights
- OpenAI — optional TTS or vision features when enabled
- ElevenLabs — optional voice synthesis when enabled
- Pexels — optional stock media search when enabled
If a provider is disabled or the app is run offline, those external calls are not made.
6. Tokens and Credentials
API keys and access tokens (for example Instagram access tokens, OpenAI keys) are configured by the user, typically via local environment variables or local settings. They are used to call the corresponding APIs. Token values are not displayed in the local UI and are not published on this website. Retention of credentials follows the user's local configuration and each provider's token lifetime.
7. Data Retention
- Local data: retained until the user deletes local application data directories or uninstalls the product.
- Provider-side data: subject to Meta / OpenAI / ElevenLabs / Pexels policies when those services are used.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Disconnect Instagram / Meta integrations in the local app settings
- Remove the app connection from Meta / Instagram account settings
- Delete local databases, assets, and renders from your machine
- Request assistance with deletion related to the integration via Data Deletion Instructions
9. Children
Reel Studio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do.
